Desde la provincia Argentina Uruguay, nos comparten una ayuda para vivir y celebrar el Mes de la Creación en el 2025.

Season of Creation - Tiempo de la Creación 2025

PEACE WITH CREATION: Our Biblical text for this year is Isaiah 32:14-18. The prophet Isaiah pictured the desolated Creation without peace because of the lack of justice and the broken relationship between God and humankind. This description of devastated cities and wastelands eloquently stresses the fact that human destructive behaviours have a negative impact on the Earth.

Our hope: Creation will find peace when justice is restored.

There is still hope and the expectation for a peaceful Earth.

To hope in a biblical context does not mean to stand still and quiet, but to act, pray, change, and reconcile with Creation and the Creator in unity, metanoia (repentance), and solidarity. (https://seasonofcreation.org/)

PAZ CON LA CREACIÓN: El profeta Isaías (32:14) describe la Creación desolada sin paz debido a la falta de justicia y la relación rota entre Dios y la humanidad. Esta descripción de ciudades devastadas y tierras baldías enfatiza el hecho de que los comportamientos destructivos humanos tienen un impacto negativo en la Tierra.

Nuestra esperanza: La Creación encontrará la paz cuando se restaure la justicia.

Todavía hay esperanza y la expectativa de una Tierra en paz.

Esperar en un contexto bíblico no significa quedarse quieto y en silencio, sino actuar, orar, cambiar y reconciliarse con la Creación y el Creador en unidad, metanoia (arrepentimiento) y solidaridad. (https://seasonofcreation.org/es/)

PAIX AVEC LA CRÉATION: Notre texte biblique pour cette année est Isaïe 32.14-18.

Le prophète Isaïe a dépeint une Création désolée et sans paix en raison de l’absence de justice et de la rupture de la relation entre Dieu et l’humanité. Cette description de villes dévastées et de terres incultes souligne de manière éloquente le fait que les comportements destructeurs de l’homme ont un impact négatif sur la Terre.

Notre espoir : La création trouvera la paix lorsque la justice sera rétablie.

Il y a encore de l’espoir et l’attente d’une Terre pacifique.

Dans le contexte biblique, espérer ne signifie pas rester immobile et silencieux, mais agir, prier, changer et se réconcilier avec la Création et le Créateur dans l’unité, en metanoia (repentance), et de façon solidaire. (https://seasonofcreation.org/fr/)

We share the Season of Creation activities conducted in East Timor. It highlights the various initiatives we organized, emphasizing environmental awareness and community engagement in caring for our common home.

Our English learning students composed and sang a song to bring awareness about creation.

Season of Creation - Tiempo de la Creación

Cada año, la familia cristiana se une en esta celebración global de oración y acción para proteger nuestra casa común.

El tema de 2024 es “Esperar y actuar con la Creación” y el símbolo es “Las primicias de la esperanza”.

Each year, the Christian family unites for this worldwide celebration of prayer and action to protect our common home.

The theme for 2024 is “To hope and act with Creation” and the symbol is “The firstfruits of hope”.

We have celebrated

Celebration of the Season of Creation 2023.

Convent of Jesus and Mary Sialkot,
Pakistan

Each year, from September 1st to October 4th, Christians unite for the worldwide Celebration of Prayer and Action, to protect our Common Home. Keeping these special days of celebration of the Season of Creation in mind, we Sialkot Sisters, along with our three Teachers Miss Reena, Miss Mehwish and Miss Sawera prepared a Prayer Service. All the Teachers, Students and JM Youth group participated with full enthusiasm and joy. The Prayer Service began with a hymn, "All things Bright and Beautiful", followed by an introduction, an Opening Prayer, a Reading from the Holy Bible and a reflection. The intercessory Prayers were offered, and then the two video clips were shown on the multimedia, on how to look after our Environment and the Beauty of CJM Sialkot. At the end a lovely and meaningful action song (Vird) "Chay Din Mai Khuda Ne Zamin Asman Banaye" was performed by some of our students of grade 4 and 5. For the Season of Creation the students prepared interesting posters and projects which were admired by all. We pray and wish that the yearly Celebration of the Season of Creation, re-strengthen our common actions from which flow justice and peace in our present context.

During the month of the Season of Creation, we also had tree plantation and International Peace Day celebration with our pupils and teachers. Each one had been encouraged to appreciate and love nature.

International Peace Day

Convent of Jesus and Mary - Mariakhel

On September 1st and 8th, 2023, the children of the Junior and Senior Section of CJM Mariakhel celebrated the Season of Creation by planting trees and were carrying play cards with messages about how to take care of Mother Earth and natural resources wisely.

Mariakhel Community

The Mariakhel Community celebrated the Season of Creation and had a prayer service in the evening. As the sisters gathered to pray, they were surrounded by the beauty and bounty of nature.

In their reflections, the sisters shared their gratitude for God's gift of creation and their commitment to caring for it. They spoke of the importance of protecting the environment and living in harmony with which God has created.

International Peace Day   

On September 21, 2023, the children of CJM Mariakhel celebrated International Peace Day by presenting songs, poems, and peace day quotations. They also had some activities such as making peace doves, drawing peace signs, and writing peace messages.

The children's celebration of International Peace Day was a wonderful example of how young people can promote peace in the world. Their presentations and activities helped to raise awareness of the importance of peace and to inspire others to work for peace.

From September 1 – October 4, the Christian family unites worldwide in prayer and action for creation during the Season of Creation.

The 2023 theme is “Let Justice and Peace Flow.”

The symbol is the mighty river.
